Kata Rocks Year in Review 2015

Kata Rocks Year in Review 2015

It’s been an eventful award filled year for Kata Rocks in 2015. As we reflect back on this year and look forward to 2016, we see great things for Kata Rocks as it continues its mission to be Thailand’s best luxury resort.

Kata Rocks takes great pride in its incredible achievement of receiving over a dozen prestigious international awards during 2015, its first full year of operation. Starting in January 2015 the property won a volley of accolades — including ‘Best Small Hotel in Asia Pacific’ honours plus seven other awards at the International Hotel Awards in London. In July Kata Rocks’ Infinite Luxury Spa picked up two more awards at World Luxury Spa Awards 2015 including ‘Best Boutique Luxury Spa Asia’. Most recently Kata Rocks added ‘Asia’s Leading New Resort’ and ‘Asia’s Leading Villa Resort’ at the World Travel Awards 2015 in November. Our lobby trophy case is well and truly full and we are just getting started.

That said the best part about 2015 might be our new customer-driven products and events developed during the year as Kata Rocks continues to innovate and set new hospitality trends. Below are just a few gems brought to you from the beautiful minds of our management and staff:

Kata Rocks Collective Series

Kata Rocks’ Collective Series is designed to fuse drinking and dining culture from a whole new perspective. The event quickly became Phuket’s most talked about interactive social experience for culinary adventures, classic cocktails, progressive music all brought together in a unique themed setting.

Culinary Cinema

Kata Rocks’ Culinary Cinema is a completely new way to experience a movie. Each guest is supplied with a tray of numbered mystery boxes covering a bite size tasting menu pertaining to specific moments in the film. Each food matched moment is paired with a specific scene, environment or emotion that enhances the cinematic experience.

Dining on the Rocks

This one-of-a-kind sunset dining experience takes place on the flat rock promenade front of Kata Rocks literally right on the Andaman oceanfront. Two set menu options are offered, perfect for a romantic dinner for two with southern Phuket’s best ocean view as the backdrop.

Saturday Brunch

Brunch at Kata Rocks is completely over-the-top, accompanied by live tunes and percussion by the resort’s resident DJ. This weekend culinary celebration is a riot of fresh oysters, Iberian ham, tapas, roast meats, juicy Kobe beef and tropical seafood platters.

Phuket’s Best Sunset Bar

Kata Rocks Bar and Restaurant faces due west and ticks every five-star box a sunset experience might require. Every day from 5:30pm to 7:30pm guests settle in to view Phuket’s best sunset while feasting on a creative selection of Spanish-inspired tapas and sipping frosty cocktails by the resort’s 35-metre swimming pool.

 Kata Rocks Day Pass

Now discerning travellers and local residents who seek the very best in Phuket oceanfront living can experience Kata Rocks using its Day Pass program. It offers great value for money because it is redeemable for either food, beverage or spa treatments (from 11am to 6pm).

Looking forward 2016 is still a great time to invest in Kata Rocks. Positioned right on the water’s edge, Kata Rocks’ oceanfront location and luxury Sky Villas make it Phuket’s best property investment. It offers an outstanding opportunity to be part of a multi-award winning 5-star residential resort that combines cutting-edge design and its unique location at Kata Beach.
